"Lantaw" is a Cebuano word that means to "to look at" and this has been a theme of this Filipino restaurant as they strategized their location in different parts of Cebu City where diners could actually "look at" the scenic city view.

One of the locations of Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant is in Day-as, Cordova, Cebu City. (*Note:Cordova is part Lapu-Lapu Island but its jurisdiction belongs to Cebu City.) As it is a floating restaurant set in the southeastern part of island overlooking Cebu City and the South Reclamation Project, it is a very good rendezvous for friends get-together, family reunion and even a romantic date.

Dinner is the best time of the day to experience a relaxing evening though the restaurant is open from 10 A.M. to 12 M.N. The cold and fresh air, comfortable seats and cool ambiance in general added to the native theme of the restaurant.

They serve Pinoy favorites like Lechon Kawali and Crispy Pata. They also offer Grilled Pork Belly, Tuna Panga and Sinugbang Manok Bisaya (Grilled Native Chicken). Cordova Cooler is their best seller drinks which is mixed with watermelon, orange and calamansi. Other than that, they also serve shakes, juices and sodas.

Seafood lovers will be delightful of their palatable Garlic Buttered Prawns, Garlic Shrimps, Tuna Belly, Squid Adobo and Crabs (if available). Native Regional Food such as Bicol Express and Kare-Kare are also available in the menu.

Food servers are quick to respond on your orders. They also asks about your experience with their food (though sometimes it gets annoying when you are asked 3 to 4 times). Personally, I had both good and not-so-good experience here in Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant however still, I would be glad to be back there again.
