Dive to the Depths of Your Soul

"You are like the ocean, pretty enough on the surface. But dive down into your depths, you'll find beauty most people never see." This quote inspired me to continue my quest to self-awareness comparative to the water world.
"I made a mistake because I touched these corals."

The beauty of the ocean is as distinct as its depths. The mystery it possesses can only be seen when one communes underneath its surface. That was my realization when I had my diving at my hometown. I was nervous and ambivalent. I almost succumbed to my weakness during the first dive. I almost gave up.

Little did I know that beneath the turquiose waters, I would see a world too unfamiliar yet mesmerizing. It opened a different kind of universe which I knew nothing about.

Back to Diving
I had my first dive wayback 2012. It was a Discovery Dive for free in a certain dive shop in Punta EngaƱo. I had my dive for 15 minutes in a 10-meter surface. It was my first and the last for 6 long years.

I never would have thought that I got another chance to go diving this year. The opportunity came in the least expected time.

Breathing in Under Water with Air of Confidence
In contrary to mountaineering, diving is something I am not confident of doing. I am afraid of suffocation and tight spaces. My irrational fears sometimes hinder a "could-have-been" a pleasant experience because of these. It took me a couple of minutes before grasping the knack of breathing underwater.

25-Meters Underwater
I left all the appropriate adjectives when I saw the water world. No amount of words could describe my experience under the sea. Ariel must have been very lucky for being a mermaid because she has an opportunity to see the majestic Water Kingdom.
"Comfortable at 25 meter deep"
"Mutualism between Nemo and Anemone"

Corals, nudibranch, school of fish and some other sea creatures I couldn't name welcomed me. I was breathing in unison with my apparatus. I became curious of what more stuff the water world has to offer. It was extraordinaire!
