It was one very undecided moment when I went inside Rai Rai Ken. I knew I was late for an appointment however my grumbling stomach revolted inside me and the idea of eating Japanese cuisine again was powered by my search for naruto (that round something with pink whirlpool-like design added in a bowl of ramen).

The food servers felt that I was in a hurry so when they ushered me to my seat, they handed me the menu and I immediately ordered what I had in mind. A Japanese Bento of Beef Teriyaki, Chicken Lollipop, Taugi (Bean Sprout), Ebi Tempura and Gyoza. The food server thought that I was done ordering but I went on saying that I want a Seafood Ramen and California Maki. (I could imagine their bewilderment.)

The Seafood Ramen finally satiated my cravings. It had a rather great blend of shrimps, crab meat, squid and other common ramen garnishings. The taste was neither too salty and bland. I surely loved it! Their beef teriyaki was creamy which was close to a Filipino palate. However, their Taugi was a bit salty for me and their ebi tempura had too much crumbs that I could no longer savor the shrimp. The maki was alright - a more common taste to every restaurant I had gone to.

Well, the staff were friendly and the place though small was still fine.
Note: I had the bento and the maki for a take-away. I had my appetite satisfied by the seafood ramen. Finally, my naruto experience was complete!
