Marvelling at Tabuelan's Maravillosa

RH.FPOP.DAP.GGTW.IELTS.OET. These abbreviations spelled out my life these days. They are the ones that feed my stomach, mind, and heart. As a whole, I am grateful of all these projects but somehow, my body seek rest and recreation. For the past weeks, I felt the squeeze while bearing responsibilities. 

It all started when I became a COVID-19 nurse in RH. Then a mishap happened when I contracted COVID-19 last January which coincidentally fell under the end of my RH contract. During my isolation, a UK-based company looked for my IELTS service that I didn't hesitate to accept. It was on that same week when DAP (Direct Aid Program) and GGTW (Girls Got This 'Works') commenced under an international non-government organization which I was duly referred and hired as their project coordinator. Finally, FPOP asked me to handle the STI HIV-AIDS as their Project Nurse. Ever wonder how I juggled, and still in one piece?

Maximizing my Time

"Superwoman," this term isn't peculiar to me, but it absolutely has gotten in my system. I have few figureheads whom I follow religiously, and there are close friends who continuously inspire me to become better. But the term surely made me because I want to excel and do something better for myself. 

"That sunny Sunday morning soaked me with this view..."

Do I have so much in my hand? Yes. But as for me, I have learned to maximize my time, and manage it effectively. I work from 10am until 2am, and sometimes work over the weekend but I never complained instead I made a system.

I replicate. I reached out to people who could help me, and in turn, earn from me. Branching out my skills and learning from their skills. My work has become easier and manageable thus it didn't become a burden anymore. 

Travel Luxury

It was last Sunday that I decided to breathe in and contemplated about my life. The very visions I had last 2020 when I lose my job are now taking into place. The IELTS module and plan I developed are now being used in my own IELTS Online Review. The career that I dreamed before is now served in my plates. I am thankful beyond what I have and what I have been doing for the past weeks.

So the fruit of my toil? I have the luxury to travel even within my province. That Sunday morning getaway, and leaving my laptop at home was an achievement. Again, the odd was on my favor that when I get to Maravillosa Beach Resort (Maravilla) in Tabuelan, there weren't any phone signal. The only thing I did? I basked under the sun, the sand, and the beach while I luxuriate of doing nothing.
