2020 Triumphs and Looking Forward to 2021

Year-end Triumphs!

We all know how this year brought us to anxiety, fear, and chaos. From a virus outbreak and pandemic up to devastating typhoons and flood, we still stand tall and resilient. This goes the same with my personal experience.

As part of my passion to write and share not just my travel experience but also my line of work, I joined the 18-week Content Challenge. Although it was not my first time to be joining this content challenge. It was on 2018 when I braved for the first time to be part of Weekly Content Challenge and gladly, I finished the entire 52 weeks of writing my blog. At this point though, penning travel-related articles when quarantined were close to impossible, and not to mention my line of work which eats up my weekends. But my blog this year found a different niche, a purpose I strongly uphold. It became the voice of the children who are abused and who are in conflict with the law. It became the niche for women who are facing and/or experiencing domestic violence and any other types. I made another content and purpose for my blog.

I would also say that my passion to write and teach brought me to another country, not personally though. But my guidance and pedagogy reached the United Kingdom by editing a children's book. I wouldn't thought it will be feasible to publish a book with me as the acknowledged editor. For me, this is just the beginning of many opportunities in the future and I am so excited myself to inspire others to keep on following and chasing their dreams until they all come true.

I couldn't thank everyone enough, and even the One who created the universe, humankind, and humanity. Looking back, my year 2020 started with a downward curve since I was laid-off from a company but it ended with so much surprises! I opened up not just one business but two, I joined the weekly content challenge and finished it, and finally, the manuscript that I edited is finally published! Again, I couldn't ask for more despite the pandemic.

Salamat, 2020! =)

Padayon lang gihapon ta!

This year, 2021, I hope to achieve and develop more of my knowledge, skills and enhance my attitude, and more opportunities for this year!

  1. This is great. I am happy to witness your triumphs through your blog. 2020 is indeed a year of challenge and 2021 could be more challenging, but I'm confident that 2020 has prepared us to weather the challenges in 2021 and turn them into opportunities for growth. The story continues and we shall do well this year. Aja!

    1. Thank you, Reck Adventures! This is a more challenging year for content creators because from 18 weeks, it goes up to 52! Hurray! Hahaha! But I know it will fuel more passion for us to create more meaningful and inspiring contents as days, weeks, and months pass by. See you around!

  4. Hello, Angel! I was attracted to your blog because we have the same family name. I'm glad that you have found a worthwhile niche for your blog. Yes, 2020 was horrendous for most people, but most of us are survivors with the blood of warrior "Lapu-lapu" running through our veins. We will all waltz through 2021 and dance our way through challenges :-)
