In personal view, I enjoyed swimming in their infinity pool. I was so glad to be able to join the Media group especially the other bloggers (#CBSForever!) once again. I took a hiatus from traveling since I was so tied up with work. I then uttered to myself, "This is your only vacation. So you must enjoy it to the fullest!" Truly, a day away from work made me ecstatic and alive again - the outdoor is indeed, a great healer from stress.

But what I really considered a rewarding activity? It was when I found a moment of solitude when I did a solo kayaking. Though no matter how adventurous I was in my previous and younger years of travel, I had never tried kayaking alone. I was hesitant and afraid of the "what if's". However, the lifeguard at Solea Mactan Resort assigned at the area, made it easy for me to do it by myself. Of course, he gave me instructions and safety precautions. I also learned that they have SUP (Stand Up Paddle).

Wrapping up my experience at Solea Mactan Resort, I can say that it made me more reflective. Solea means an elevated platform thus, transforming a paradise that was not so attractive in the beginning requires patience and creativity. No wonder why Solea could be in turn the next top 3 resorts in Mactan which is preferred by tourists both local and international.
